The Client

A structured, logic-driven WhatsApp automation system built for a dedicated client deployment. It turns an ordinary WhatsApp Business number into a self-operating front desk: an interactive, menu-based interface that autonomously handles support routing, ticket generation, feedback collection, and meeting scheduling — with no human agent in the loop. Every inbound message is met instantly with a numbered menu, and each selection walks the sender down the right branch: opening and logging a support ticket, serving the correct instructions, capturing structured feedback, or booking a slot on the calendar. Because the logic is deterministic rather than open-ended, the experience is identical for every customer, every time — fast, predictable, and auditable end to end.

The Problem

Handling customer support over WhatsApp turns a business number into a chaotic inbox of unstructured queries. Manually reading, categorizing, and answering every message — a complex ticket, a simple info request, or a meeting request — created a massive operational bottleneck and delayed response times.

The Build

I engineered a deterministic workflow on the WhatsApp Business API. Rather than open-ended AI, it uses a strict interactive menu architecture for maximum reliability: each inbound message triggers a numeric menu (e.g. '1' for Support, '2' to Book a Meeting), and the backend routes the user through the right sub-menus — logging tickets, serving instructions, collecting feedback, or scheduling appointments, all without a human agent.

The Result

The result is a support line that runs itself. Every message is acknowledged the instant it lands and routed deterministically — tickets logged, meetings booked, feedback captured — with no human triage and no dropped queries. Because the flow is menu-driven rather than generative, it behaves identically on the thousandth conversation as the first: predictable, and always on.

Before & After
Before

A single WhatsApp number was a chaotic, unstructured inbox — every ticket, info request, and meeting ask read and routed by hand, with response times slipping as volume grew.

After

Every message is acknowledged instantly and routed deterministically — tickets logged, meetings booked, feedback captured — with zero human triage and zero dropped queries.
