Preamble
Cuneihive makes three commitments to the people who work with us: work-life balance, career growth and learning, and environmental sustainability. Each one follows from how we actually run the company: fully remote, built on trust, judged by results instead of hours, and honest about what we can and cannot promise. None of them is a perk layered on top; they are the way we work. They sit alongside our Workplace Policy at /policies/workplace.
1. Work-Life Balance
- 1.1
Work-life balance is built into how we operate, not added as a perk.
- 1.1.1
Fully remote. There is no commute and no office to relocate for, and that time stays yours.
- 1.1.2
Your own hours. We judge work by the definition of done, not by hours logged or time spent online. If the work is complete and meets the agreed quality, when, where and how you did it is your call.
- 1.1.3
No pressure culture. We do not micromanage the experts we hire. If you are dealing with something personal, tell us and we will believe you without asking for details.
- 1.1.4
No surprise rules. Our policies only change with the consent of the people they affect, and any change that is genuinely required comes with time to adapt.
- 1.1.1
- 1.2
In return we are strict about two things: keeping your word, and client deadlines. When client work is due by a specific time, it is done before that time, however you choose to plan your day around it. That mix of freedom and accountability is what lets our team do focused, high-quality work and still own their time.
2. Career Growth & Learning
- 2.1
We grow people by challenging them, never by pressuring them.
- 2.2
When a project needs a skill you do not have yet, we do not hand it to someone else: we give you time to learn it, help you learn it, and then you build the project with it, so every engagement leaves you with new skills. Our work spans AI agents, voice AI, n8n workflow automation, CRM integrations and data infrastructure, so there is always something real to stretch into. Whatever tools a project needs, we help you learn them. And we trust the experts we hire to decide how their work gets done.
- 2.3
Your career does not have to stop at Cuneihive. You may hold a second job where that employer's terms allow it, and you may run clients of your own, as long as you do not approach ours; we will even point you to resources from our network to help you deliver for them. If a better opportunity comes along, we let you go happily and only ask for help finishing ongoing work or a proper handover. We do not bind people or play games with their careers.
3. Career Growth & Learning Programs
- 3.1
These are the programs behind our career-growth commitment:
- 3.1.1
Learn-before-you-build time. When a project needs a new skill, you get time to learn it before you are expected to deliver with it.
- 3.1.2
Hands-on mentoring from the founder. You are not left to figure it out alone; we help you learn, directly.
- 3.1.3
Help learning our tools. Whatever stack a project uses, we help you learn it: Claude, n8n, Clay, GoHighLevel, CRM platforms and custom code.
- 3.1.4
Stretch assignments on live client systems. Real work on AI agents, voice AI, n8n automation and data infrastructure, not practice projects.
- 3.1.5
Tool-agnostic work. We pick the right stack for each problem rather than one vendor, so your skills grow across many tools instead of one.
- 3.1.6
Freedom to hold a second job, where that employer's terms allow it.
- 3.1.7
Freedom to run your own clients, with access to our network for resources, as long as you do not approach Cuneihive's clients.
- 3.1.8
Supported exits. If you move on to something better, we let you go and help you hand over cleanly.
- 3.1.1
4. Environmental Sustainability
- 4.1
Cuneihive is fully remote by design, and that is where our environmental footprint is decided.
- 4.1.1
No office space. We rent no premises, so there is no building to construct, furnish, light, heat or cool on top of the homes our team already works from.
- 4.1.2
No commute. Nobody drives to work, which removes the fuel and emissions of a daily journey for every person on the team.
- 4.1.3
Online by default. Meetings run on video calls instead of travel.
- 4.1.4
Efficient systems. Our engineering rules forbid wasted compute, such as rewriting unchanged database records or running scheduled jobs more often than the work needs, and we size infrastructure to the job.
- 4.1.1
- 4.2
We are a small company and we do not claim to be carbon neutral. What we commit to is keeping our footprint small by design as we grow. Our pledge below sets out exactly what we will and will not do.
5. Our Environmental Pledge
- 5.1
Cuneihive pledges to:
- 5.1.1
Stay remote-first, and not rent office space for day-to-day work.
- 5.1.2
Meet online by default, and travel only when a client engagement genuinely requires being on site.
- 5.1.3
Build efficient systems, with no unnecessary compute, storage or scheduled jobs in what we run for ourselves or our clients.
- 5.1.4
Make no environmental claim we cannot back, and update this pledge publicly if any part of it changes.
